Miss Treglia
Ms. Treglia is excited to be a third grade teacher at Community Roots Academy. She began teaching in 2001 while completing her teaching credential and Masters Degree in Education. Her experiences include teaching kindergarten through fifth grade as well as a number of years working with at-risk students in the areas of reading and math.
Working with children is Ms. Treglia’s passion. She believes that providing early elementary students with a firm foundation in literacy opens the door to lifelong learning. She creates a collaborative classroom environment that encourages students’ innate curiosity and creativity while inspiring them to love learning.
In the words of Rita Pierson, “Every child deserves a champion– an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best they can possibly be.”
When she’s not teaching, Ms. Treglia enjoys hiking, running, hot yoga, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
